Treatment for “Shin splints”
Is a generic term used to describe exercise-induced discomfort in the shin region. Most commonly a strain or tendon inflammation of the muscles at the front of the lower leg. Characterised by shin pain, sometimes burning in nature, aggravated by activity and relieved by rest. Recent research has shown an increase in prevalence in users of Creatine. Some sports people experience this after returning to high impact sports after periods of inactivity.
